Well, I woke up this morning and my right eye was red and puffy. Faaaaantastic! Basically, this means that I have to go the doctor at 8 to see if I have pink eye. If I do (which I'm guessing I do) I won't be babysitting today. If I don't, I have to then drive all the way to Mineral Point and watch the kids while my eye is itching and throbbing. This shall be a joyous day! However, I suppose I'm supposed to be joyful in all circumstances...so...I'll work on that.
For now, however, I am eating a bowl of raisin bran and drinking a big glass of orange juice. Yay breakfast! Also, I'm already a little bit homesick...strange, hmm? I just keep thinking about leaving home in 37 days, that's right, 6 more days than a month, and I get a little freaked out. I'm ready to "get out there" but I'm really torn between leaving my mom and the actual "getting out there".
Anyway, that's enough babbling for now. I suppose I had better eat up and call the doctor's office.
Until Next Time!

Hey there!
So nothing has really changed since my last post, other than I've been spending pretty much all of my free time studying for the midterm. I took it today after we got back from church, and it only took me 45 minutes (the professor gave us 2 hours). It really wasn't too bad, and I'm pretty sure I did well on it. :c)
In other news, I spent the rest of my afternoon reading Wheel of Time and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It was pretty fantastic. Then mom and dad and I watched a movie, I knitted, and now I think it's going to be time for sleep. I have to be up at 6 so I can get to work and watch the kids. Yay for 40 hour weeks!!

It's been forever!
Well, only 44.5 more days left here in Wisconsin. It seems so strange that I'm going to be AT college in a few weeks. Honestly, I'm already starting to get a little homesick. My parents have been my best friends, my companions, my comedians, my comforts, and now it's time to spread my wings and fly. It's slightly horrifying, and yet exciting. I get to see how well the things they've taught me have sunk in. It'll be interesting to see myself in the real world.
On the other hand, my class schedule is fairly grotesque. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will be filled with classes from 8:30 until 2:15...I have Philosophy, Communication (aka Speech. ew.), Biblical Hermeneutics and Writing in Culture. On Tuesdays I have Biology from 11-12:30, and a lab from 1:15-3:15. On Thursdays, I only have my 11-12:30 Bio class. My classes all sound REALLY interesting, though.
Finally, I've been communicating with my roommate regularly. She seems really fun, energetic, and interesting. She's planning on majoring in theater, and minoring in something in music, so even though I'm not planning on majoring/minoring in theater or music, we'll at least have all of that in common!!
Hope all is well with you!!
